Welcome to the Catherine Thybo Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR).

NSDAR is a national organization dedicated to service to communities, preservation of our past, conservation of our lands and seas, and education of our citizens. The Catherine Thybo Chapter NSDAR has members from the Black Hills communities in South Dakota and Wyoming.

Our chapter began the process of becoming a new chapter of NSDAR in 2012. We were accepted into the national organization in 2013. Although we are still a fairly small chapter, we have made up for our size by being extremely active in our area—recognizing women in history, conservation, schools, historic preservation, and many other projects to promote DAR in our communities.

You can click the Join Us link to learn how to become a member of DAR. We are always thrilled to introduce new members to the NSDAR organization and its many ways of bettering our communities and nation.
